Josh worked as a therapist for students at the University of Colorado in the health and counseling center. Josh also served as the Group Therapy Program Coordinator for the clinic. In this position, Josh conducts individual therapy, couples therapy and group therapy for students at the University of Colorado. Josh has also provided training to interns at CAPS specifically around treatment of trauma.
2006-2011: Child and family therapist at Mental Health Partners (formerly named The Mental Health Center serving Boulder and Broomfield Counties).
In this position, Josh provides individual and family therapy, including play therapy, to clients ages 2-18. Josh works as the child team specialist for serving complicated families with DHHS (Department of Housing and Human Services) and multi-agency involvement. Josh provided individual, family and group therapy to children and adolescents during their time in an intensive day treatment setting.
